NHL Picks Today
AI moneyline and totals picks for every NHL game tonight — plus context on why we don't publish dedicated ATS / puck-line picks.
Wagerly's NHL coverage publishes two markets: moneyline (who wins) and totals (over/under combined goals). Picks are generated for every NHL game on the slate and refresh throughout the day.
Heads up: Wagerly does not currently publish dedicated ATS / puck-line picks. If you came here looking for those, this page explains how to use what we do publish to inform NHL spread bets.
What's actually on this page
- Moneyline picks — the AI's pick for the winner of each NHL game.
- Totals picks — over/under predictions on the combined goal total.
- Coverage for the regular season and the Stanley Cup Playoffs. For postseason-specific framing see NHL playoff predictions.
About NHL ATS / puck-line picks
NHL ATS picks (against the spread, almost always called puck-line in hockey) are bets on whether one team wins by more than 1.5 goals or stays within 1.5.
Wagerly does not publish dedicated puck-line picks today. The AI models the moneyline (who wins) and the totals (over/under) directly, not the goal-margin distribution that's needed for a reliable puck-line prediction. We'd rather say so than fake an output we don't trust.
If we add a puck-line model later, this page will be updated to reflect it.
How to use Wagerly's NHL output for spread bets anyway
- Open the moneyline pick for a game. If the AI projects a clear favorite, that's a signal in favor of −1.5 puck-line on the favorite (though the margin distribution is wide — don't size aggressively).
- Cross-reference with the AI's total. A game projected as a high-scoring blowout tilts toward −1.5 favorite; a tight low- scoring game tilts toward the +1.5 underdog covering.
- Open the AI Stats dashboard for the full per-match view to sanity-check the spot.
- Use the AI assistant for a second opinion on a specific matchup.
NHL betting basics
The most-bet NHL markets are the moneyline and the total. Wagerly's AI publishes picks for both, on every NHL game.
Other markets exist — puck-line and player props among them — but we don't publish dedicated AI picks for those. For educational reading on how the numbers work, see what +/- means in betting.
Frequently asked questions
Does Wagerly publish NHL ATS / puck-line picks?
Not today. The AI publishes moneyline and totals picks for every NHL game. ATS (puck-line) is a different market that requires modeling goal margins specifically, which our current model doesn't do.
When are NHL picks posted?
Predictions are available once games are on the board. The page re-fetches every 15 minutes.
Do you cover the playoffs?
Yes — the same moneyline and totals model runs through the Stanley Cup Final. See the NHL playoff predictions page for postseason-specific framing.
